Services

Every kind of event, planned properly.

Corporate or personal, fifteen guests or two hundred — the process is the same. We scope it, price it, book it, run it, and stay until the last guest leaves.

01 · Corporate celebrations

Events your clients remember and your team enjoys.

Product launches, awards nights, client hospitality, end-of-quarter celebrations — the events where the room needs to feel considered and nothing can visibly go wrong.

  • Venue sourcing and site inspections, shortlisted to your brief
  • Catering, beverage packages and dietary management
  • Entertainment, AV, staging and branding
  • Guest lists, invitations and RSVP tracking
  • A full run sheet, and someone holding it on the night

02 · Business milestones

Mark the moment without hijacking anyone's month.

Twenty-five years in business. A new office. A retirement. A contract that changed everything. These deserve more than a boardroom cake — and they shouldn't cost someone on your team three weeks of evenings.

  • A format that suits the milestone, not just the calendar
  • Speech running order, cues and timing that keeps energy up
  • Photography and videography briefed to capture the right moments
  • Gifts, keepsakes and recognition handled discreetly
  • Family, staff and clients all comfortable in the same room

03 · Christmas parties

The one night a year nobody wants to organise.

Work Christmas parties are booked early, budgeted late and remembered for years. We take the whole thing on — including the awkward bits like transport, dietaries and getting everyone home safely.

  • Venues held early, before December disappears
  • Food and drink packages priced per head, no surprises
  • Entertainment, from a DJ and a saxophonist to full production
  • Transport, timings and a responsible-service plan
  • A wind-down that ends the night well

04 · Milestone birthdays

Fortieth, sixtieth, or a very good excuse.

Whether it's for a director the business wants to celebrate or a birthday in your own family, a milestone birthday works best when the person it's for isn't the one running it.

  • Styling and theming that suits the person, not a Pinterest board
  • Guest coordination, including the surprise-party logistics
  • Catering scaled sensibly to the guest list
  • Music, speeches and a running order that flows
  • Setup and pack-down handled entirely

05 · Christenings & local events

Family occasions, with the pressure taken off.

Christenings, naming days, engagements, anniversaries and community gatherings. Smaller and more personal than a corporate function — and often more important to get right.

  • Venue and catering matched to a realistic family budget
  • Coordination with the church, celebrant or community group
  • Guests of every age looked after, from grandparents to toddlers
  • Photography, flowers, cake and keepsakes arranged
  • You get to be present, not on your feet all afternoon

How it works

Four steps, and you're a guest at your own event.

No mystery, no drip-fed invoices. You'll know what's happening and what it costs at every stage.

01

Discovery call

Free, no obligation, usually 20–30 minutes. We talk through what you're marking, roughly when, roughly how many people and roughly what you'd like to spend. If we're not the right fit, we'll say so.

02

Proposal & quote

You get a written plan: the concept, the suggested venue and suppliers, a line-by-line budget, and our fee at 10% of that budget. Nothing is booked until you say yes.

03

Planning & booking

We handle the contracts, deposits, dietaries, RSVPs and run sheet. You get regular updates and one point of contact — not a chain of suppliers emailing you directly.

04

Event day

We're there before the first supplier arrives and we stay until pack-down is done. You hold a drink, not a clipboard.

Pricing

10% of your event budget. That's the whole fee.

Event managers typically charge between 15% and 25% of the total event budget. While LMC Events builds its client base, our first clients pay 10% — plus a lower daily and hourly rate than the industry standard for any additional on-site days.

What the 10% covers

  • Concept development and event design
  • Venue and supplier sourcing, negotiation and booking
  • Budget management and reconciliation
  • Run sheets, timings and supplier briefing
  • On-the-day coordination and pack-down

Good to know

  • The fee is calculated on your event budget, so it scales with the job
  • You'll see an itemised budget before anything is committed
  • Supplier costs are passed through at cost — we don't mark them up
  • The introductory rate is limited to our first few clients
Is there a minimum event size?
No. We plan intimate gatherings of fifteen and functions of a couple of hundred. What matters more than headcount is that you want the whole thing handled rather than a bit of help here and there.
How far in advance should I get in touch?
For a Christmas party, as early as you can — good December venues are often gone by August. For most other events, six to twelve weeks is comfortable. If your date is sooner than that, call us and we'll tell you honestly whether it's achievable.
Do you only do events on the water?
Not at all. Harbour charters photograph beautifully, so a lot of our imagery comes from them, but we plan events in venues, offices, function rooms, restaurants and private homes across Sydney.
What if I already have a venue booked?
That's fine and fairly common. We'll pick it up from wherever you are — sometimes that's a full plan from scratch, sometimes it's taking over supplier coordination and running the day itself.
How does the 10% work if my budget changes?
The fee is based on the final agreed event budget, and we'll flag it in writing before any change is confirmed. You will never get an invoice with a number on it you haven't already seen and approved.
Next step

Let's talk about your event.

A free discovery call, then a written plan and a clear quote. No pressure, and no charge to find out whether we're the right fit.
